Dogs bring a smile to my face every time I meet them. I adore dogs and other animals, and very often, the feeling seems to be mutual.

Hi, it's nice to meet you! I'm Lili, 36 y.o., a pet lover with a big love for all creatures – great and small.

For me, pet sitting is real work that I take seriously and want to grow in professionally — and at the same time, it is work I truly enjoy doing every day. Since pet sitting is my main focus, I have a very flexible schedule and can be consistently available for both pets and their owners. When I agree to care for a pet, I am fully committed and ready to dedicate my time, attention, and energy to their well-being.

Here in Leuven, where I moved some time ago, I have already had the pleasure of helping a few families with their dogs, and I have also become friends with their owners. I also volunteer with dogs.

I understand that trusting your pet to someone new can be difficult. That is why I focus on transparency, clear communication, and reliability. I am always happy to meet you and your pet in advance, discuss routines, habits, and any concerns you may have, and provide all the information you need. My goal is to make sure you feel calm, confident, and comfortable before and during my care. My strongest qualities are responsibility and kindness — and I believe animals and their owners can feel that right away.

I'm aware that every pet is unique, and I always do my best to be their friend and a guide. I found a way to connect with a lively and stubborn Jack Russell, gained the trust of a shy Labradoodle, and cared for a Dachshund with special behavioral needs. I am not a professional dog trainer or dog behaviorist (although I am always interested in learning more), but my love and patience usually bring good results. Besides dogs and cats, I also have extensive experience with pet rats, including providing medical care.

Short facts about me: I am 36, married (no kids), hold a university degree in Management, doing photography (so lovely photos of your pets are included). I enjoy nature, walking, and travelling.

Services I Offer

House-sitting (staying at your home)

House-sitting means I stay most of the time in your home, caring for your pets and leaving only for short periods when necessary. While house-sitting, I am fully focused on your home and your pets and cannot take on other responsibilities. This is why the price for house-sitting is higher than for a simple overnight stay and a short walk.

As a house sitter, I am a tidy, calm, and responsible person. I do not smoke.

Included in house-sitting:

• feeding and fresh water
• giving oral medication, if needed
• walks as agreed
• playtime and attention
• daily updates and photo reports
• keeping the house and pet areas tidy
• collecting post and parcels, if needed
• other services by agreement

The price may be slightly higher if:

• there is a puppy who needs to go out often and be constantly supervised
• pets need extra attention or extra care
• there are multiple pets (more than two)

I can also offer house-sitting in locations outside Leuven, but for longer distances that require public transport (as I do not own a car), a one-time transport fee applies, independent of the number of days. Another option is for you to give me a ride. 

Dog boarding and Doggy Day Care

Although I cannot currently offer dog boarding or doggy day care at my home due to rental rules, you can always choose home visits or house-sitting instead. Many pets actually feel more relaxed staying in their familiar environment, keeping their usual routine, smells, and safe space. This often reduces stress and helps them feel calmer while you are away. 

Dog walking

Standard walk: 30 minutes.

Longer walks (up to 1 hour): available for an additional fee of €6.

Walks longer than 1 hour: by agreement.

You can always follow the route.

During walks, I stay fully attentive to your dog, keeping an eye on their behavior, preventing them from picking things up if needed, and gently guiding them throughout the walk, always focusing on their safety and comfort.

I always check with you about your dog’s needs, pace, habits, and physical condition, and I take the weather into account, as hot or cold weather can affect your dog’s comfort. I am physically active and happy to provide energetic walks when your dog needs it, or be a playful partner if your dog enjoys that.

Home visits

Standard visit: 30 minutes.

The pet owner decides what the visit should include (feeding, care, playtime, a short walk, etc.).

Extended visits (up to 1 hour): possible for an additional fee of €6.

Longer visits and extra services can always be discussed individually.

Transport & Location

I live close to Tervuursepoort, 3001 Heverlee, Leuven. I can reach other Leuven districts and nearby areas by bicycle. Please note that I do not own a car.

For me, caring for pets is about trust, responsibility, and presence. When your pet is with me, they are not just being watched — they are cared for with attention, patience, and genuine kindness. I will always treat your pet and your home with respect and care, as if they were my own.
