Hello, I am Özlem. I have been living in Kortrijk for 6 years.

I have always loved animals. Since childhood, I have fed stray cats and dogs in Turkey.

I had a cat that I found like this when I was at university, I took her in my hand and I couldn't put her down. She became my first real pet; Willow. I had the chance to be with her for 17 years long. She was my cat-daugther.

After she passed away last year, the idea of having a new pet seemed impossible to me. When my boyfriend adopted a cat, I was a little happy and a little sad at the same time. I felt like I was cheating on my dearest Willow, but I also know that we have to provide a home for these kitties, keep them alive, give them our love and attention.

My cat was diagnosed with cancer. So, I know how to take care of sick cats and give oral medication. I also have experience approaching shy and aggressive cats.

Our new cat has one eye. She doesn't seem to bother by this disability. Actually, she is very cute and lazy.

I think I'm ready to share my love with other animals.

For now I prefer pet sitting for cats. I don't have a big garden for dogs.
