I am a responsible, friendly 29-year-old Australian woman and, most importantly, a true dog lover. I live and work in Antwerp in the health and fitness industry as a Pilates coach and have been living here since 2024. Caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life, and dog walking and pet sitting is something I do because it genuinely brings me happiness.

I’ve owned three beautiful dogs in the past, an Australian Cattle Dog and two Border Collies, so I am very familiar with energetic, intelligent breeds that need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Growing up with dogs taught me responsibility, patience, and how important routine, consistency, and trust are for their wellbeing.

Over the years, I’ve dog sat and walked for countless families in both Australia and Belgium, caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I offer dog walking, house visits, boarding, and house sitting. I always follow each dog’s usual routine closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, play, rest, and any special instructions, so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home. I am comfortable administering basic medication and adjusting care to suit senior dogs, puppies, or more active breeds.

For dog walking, I offer longer walks of around 45 to 60 minutes whenever possible, as I believe dogs need and deserve plenty of movement, stimulation, and time outdoors. For boarding and day care, I live with my partner, who is also a big dog lover, in a cosy two-bedroom apartment. We have dog sat many times before, so our home is already set up to be dog-friendly, calm, and safe, with space to relax and regular opportunities for walks and attention. I only accept vaccinated pets into my home to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing.

When a dog stays with me for boarding or day care, I always start with a calm introduction and allow them time to settle in at their own pace. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep routines consistent to help dogs feel secure. Throughout the day, dogs are always supervised, whether indoors or on walks, and I ensure doors and windows are secure at all times. Walks are done safely on leash unless otherwise agreed, and I remain attentive to surroundings and other dogs. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, and home-like environment where dogs feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for.

In emergency situations, I remain calm, responsible, and confident, and I always prioritise the dog’s safety while following the owner’s instructions and contacting them immediately if needed.

At the moment, I don’t have a dog of my own, and I truly miss having one in my life. I already go for daily walks and love being outdoors, and having a furry companion by my side makes it even better. I treat every dog I care for as if they were my own and always provide attentive, loving, and reliable care. 🐾💛
