Hello dear neighbors,
this summer I am free for some days to pet sit in august if needed. I would love to pet sit and house sit in Brussels if you have a pet with medical issues I can help out. I am looking forward to be able to look after your cat or dog, as well as other furry friends. As I am living in a shared room apartment here in Leuven and I miss having pets around, this will be a perfect opportunity for you, your pet and me. I am a social pedagogue, teacher and speech therapist from Germany and looking forward to meet you. I speak Nederlands, German and English.
I am usued to always have cats and a dog around me, or smaller rodents as well.
I grew up with a dog and did agility training with him. I enjoy playing with them and learning something new together. Because every training is a new challenge not only for the dog but especially for the trainer. And because of my calm nature, I get along very well with almost every cat. Even with the shy four-legged friends, I manage to quickly build a loving relationship through patience. Furthermore our families cats always had different kind of diseases and I am used to sneaking medicine into them through a snack or giving an injection because of our cats diabetes. Since I also had guinea pigs and hamsters as pets, I don't mind taking good care of them too... but also mice or rats. I think it's very interesting to watch them play together or see how they're getting along.
I am looking forward to meet you and getting to know you both pet and owner, to see how I can be of support!

Maike is really wonderful and made every possible effort to make sure I was able to enjoy my travels with zero worries about my beloved, elderly (and anxious) dogs. She took them on so many little adventures and I’m positive they adore her.
Updates and pictures were sent everyday, making me feel so relieved and stave off missing them as much as possible.
She is really kind and cares about animals. You can really tell that she thinks compassionately and mindfully about their care.
I will definitely book again!
