my name is Franka, I am 21 years old and from Germany. I just started my Psychology studies at Maastricht University. As I spend most of my time in the city, I will happily be available for you near Maastricht and the Belgian border.

- IMPORTANT: I recently moved to Maastricht! Pawshake doesn't let me change my address - I no longer live in Tongeren. I'll still be available near the Dutch/Belgian border. -

My motivation to become a pet sitter is based on the huge love, respect and compassion I have had for animals ever since I can remember. Also, as a student I have a lot of free-time that I want to spend in the most meaningful way possible.

There are two reasons why I take my responsibility for your pet extremely serious: Firstly, I have had a Rhodesian Ridgeback lady of my own and learned very early to take proper care of her. The past few years, my parents and I also had to rely on a dog sitter, so I know what it is like to hand over your dearest friend to another person and having to trust them. This is why I really want to make you and your dog feel as safe as possible with me when it comes to warmth, understanding and caring.

Secondly, I just finished my traineeship as an industrial clerk in July 2022 and therefore have lots of experience concerning customer service, discipline and taking schedules seriously. Trust is all about communication and I will always go out of my way to update you on everything you need to know to feel at peace (possible schedule changes, your pet's well-being, etc.).

I also have a lot of experience with watching and walking strangers' dogs (big & small), since the neighbourhood in my home town was full of dog owners. Unfortunately, those were all private arrangements, so I do not have any valid reviews.

Besides taking care of dogs, I also know how to look after cats. I've been staying with a family for a few months that has 3 cats of different ages and they spent a lot of time with me.
