Hei Hallo Hola Ciao! I am a 30 year old colombian/italian girl that recently moved from Norway to Belgium with my boyfriend Joris (Leuven native :D ). I already lived in Belgium from 2014-2016 as I did my master in Gent, so I returned to my second home. I am a marine scientist, genuine animal lover, and environmental advocate. I enjoy a lot spending time with animals, it is a therapy for me, and I can completely guarantee you that I will take care of your beloved pet as if was mine. I am a very dedicated, organized, trustful and responsible person that will prioritize always the well-being of the pet.

**Availability**

Currently, I am working as freelance consultant for an environmental consultancy (and at the same looking for a new job in Belgium) while taking dutch courses which are on Mondays' and Wednesdays' evening. In general I have time flexibility to take care of your furry babies. **My life in Colombia**

I grew up sorrounded by animals as we had a small family farm back in Colombia. We had goats, cows, ducks, geese, and rabbits. When I was young I had two doggies, a girl (rescued by my uncle from the streets) and a boy (given away to my grandfather), they are now in the dog's heaven. Back home my family and I have two rescued cat beauties called Matilda and Violeta (see pics :) ). Violeta was two months old when we rescued her from a pet store that had animals in horrible conditions, and Matilda was a two-year old semi-feral cat that I brought home from the street. It was a long and tough socialization process with her but she is now the most noble and kind cat, who takes cares of her sister Violeta. These two are completely spoiled by their grandma and aunt!

In Norway, I adopted a beautiful little black panther called Priscilla. She is a shy cat since in the past she was mistreated by previous owners, but she is getting better everyday and more social!! :) Now she is having a new life with us in Belgium. She is definetely liking it more than Bergen. She is my baby girl, and I love to see how her behaviour has been changing over time, it only takes patience and a lot of love!. Even though she has improved, we cannot host pets at my home at the moment because we are not sure how she will react with other animal, and as I mentioned beforehand the well-being of the furry friends comes first.

** My services**

*Size and type:

Currently I am only take care of small size dogs, cats, birds, fishes, rabbits or rodents (hamsters, guinea pigs)!

*Pre-visits:

I will always do a free pre-visit so you can meet me beforehand, discuss details and special requests and also to check the compatibility with your pet, as we have to make sure that before the booking begins your pet feels comfortable with me. I will also ask questions about your pets, for example feeding times, favourite games, what annoys them, medical conditions, and the name and number of their vet (it is important to have this information in case of an emergency, specially if it is for a long period that your pet will stay without you).

*Dog walking:

30 min up to 1 hour walks. More time can be discussed and also if there is a place that you prefer for the walk.

*Home visits for dogs, cats, or other animals:

From 30 min up to 1 hours. More time can be definetely discussed and it can also be a complete day for a negotiable price (day care at your home). I will strictly follow the routine that you have established for your babies. I will feed, give fresh water, clean the feeding area, clean the litter box (cats), clean cages (rodents, rabbits), and play with your pets. You can always let me know if you have any special request. For example, I have given medication before, including pills and liquid medicine, and apply cream on injuries. I can also water your plants, and bring inside your mail. One of my clients in Bergen (Norway) asked me to fill the bird feeders that they had in their garden, as the cute little indoor cat that I took care of entertained himself a lot watching the birds. My boyfriend sometimes join me, especially when its more than one pet. He is currently working from home for a Norwegian company, so he could also have time flexibility. If for some reason I am not available at a certain time, he might provide the service. You can always contact me and ask us. We are a great team! If you are going for a long period, I can guarantee you that I will send you daily pictures and videos (even video calls if needed), so you can check on your babies!
