Hi! I'm a 23-year-old, I'm Italian and I'm studying architectural engineering at the ULB so I'm currently living in Brussels. I've always been surrounded by animals, and they've been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. Back home, I have a dog and three cats, so I'm very familiar with their daily routines and needs. Since moving to Brussels, I've really missed their company, and joining Pawshake is a lovely opportunity to spend time with animals again while helping other pet owners. Over the years, I've gained experience with dogs of different breeds and sizes, from energetic Belgian Malinois to smaller breeds such as Beagles and Pugs. My first dog was a Pug, and growing up with animals has taught me to be patient, attentive and responsible. I've also learned that every pet has its own personality, habits and needs, so I believe it's important to get to know each animal and adapt the care accordingly. I'm available for dog walking, home visits and pet sitting at the owner's home. During walks, I can provide exercise, playtime and company, adapting the experience to each dog's needs. I don't have a fixed walking duration or route: I prefer to agree on these details with the owner, considering the dog's age, energy level and usual routine. I'm happy to visit their favourite parks and familiar walking routes, or explore other suitable and safe areas of Brussels together. For home visits, I'm happy to take care of feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes for cats, playtime and general companionship. The length of each visit can be arranged with the owner depending on the pet's needs and daily routine. If you're away for longer periods, I can also spend more time at your home to make sure your pets receive the attention and care they need. I feel most comfortable looking after friendly and sociable dogs who are used to meeting new people and can build a relationship with someone unfamiliar. Although I have experience with different sizes and breeds, I prefer dogs whose temperament and behaviour I can confidently manage. For this reason, I don't accept dogs with aggressive or unpredictable behaviour or those requiring specialist handling. I believe it's important to be honest about what I can offer and to make sure both the pet and I feel comfortable and safe. When caring for pets at their owner's home, I treat the space with respect and follow all instructions carefully. I make sure doors and windows are properly secured, keep the environment tidy and pay particular attention to the pets' safety when entering or leaving the house. I also try to maintain their usual routines as much as possible, so they can feel relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I'm caring, reliable and flexible, and happy to travel within Brussels. Communication is also very important to me, so I'm always happy to send photos and updates during walks and visits. Before confirming a booking, I'd love to arrange an initial meeting with you and your pet to learn about their personality, routine and specific needs. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you're away!
