Hello pet lovers in Belgium!

My name is Matilde, I am 23 years old and I come from Italy. For the last four years I have lived in the Netherlands, first in Maastricht for a three-year degree in European Studies and then in Utrecht where I completed my Masters in Conflict Studies and Human Rights in August 2024! 

I've always been used to living with cats! In Italy, my first cat was Gina, a beautiful (and not very cuddly) cat, who sadlypassed away a year ago. Now I have two super cute cats (mom and son) that my mom rescued in September 2024! My love for cats followed me all the way to the Netherlands, where I took care of Norbert, the cat of the owners of the house I was living in for 6 months while I was studying! 

As I will start an traineeship in Brussels at the European Parliament, I am sure I will miss the company of my furry friends! Therefore, I am very happy to be avaiable to take care of your animals and house (even your plants!) if you happen to be abroad for a few days or weeks!

What I offer:

📍 At the owner's house → I offer my services exclusively at the owner's house. I can't welcome any of your pets in my house.

🐾 Home visits (1-2 times a day) → I can stay with the animals for a total of 2-3 hours per visit, making sure they haveeverything they need (food, water, games, walks, cuddles, etc.).

🌙 Stay overnight at your house → I am available to stay overnight at the owner's house for as long as necessary. During the stay, inaddition to taking care of the animals, I can take care of other small household chores, such as picking up the mail, watering the plants, cleaning and more, depending on the owner's needs. This would also be a great opportunity to find a place to stay in Brussels while taking good care of your animals and your home! (This is what I did as well for 6 months when I was in Utrecht and everything went perfectly fine!) 

🐕 Dog walking → I also offer dog walking service! The duration of walks will be determined according to the needs ofthe dog and the preferences of the owner. I prefer to take the dogs for walks in green areas, such as local parks, for theirwell-being.

I will always adapt my services to the specific needs of the animals and the requests of their owners!
