I'm a dog-mama of 9 years and life-long animal lover. I grew up with a dog & cats at home and spent many years working at a stable caring for horses and riding throughout my adolescence. I have taken care of many dogs alongside my own over the last several years, including young puppies, larger dogs, and smaller elder ones.

I live with my husband, Alex & our female dog, Lander. He is French & Belgian, while I am Irish & American. Alex & I both work in the humanitarian sector typically and for the last few years that has been Brussels-based.

We live in a 2-bedroom house in the north of Uccle, conveniently situated between Park Wolvendael and Parc du Forest, which are both ideal for long walks with dog friends. Having some more space now including a sunroom and a small, secure garden, it seems to be a great time to host some of the other neighborhood dogs when they need a temporary home away from home.

Lander gets along very well with most dogs, big & small - she's quite calm but loves to roll around in the grass, snuggle up, and go for hikes. If you're considering daycare or boarding in our home we'll be happy to do a meet & greet in one of the parks to let the dogs get acquainted before showing you around where they'll stay.

As far as daily routine, we are flexible to the needs of our guests, but typically take two daily walks, usually to a park on one of those. We have the garden for midday pee breaks and often add a third shorter walk as needed. Between myself & my husband, at least one of us is generally home working remotely during the day, so we don't leave the dogs home alone for long periods of time - we have also managed severe separation anxiety before, so if needed we can ensure they are always supervised between the two of us.
