What I love most about animals is something very simple: they make a house feel alive. A quiet cat sleeping nearby, a happy dog waiting for a walk, the little routines they create every day… to me, those moments are genuinely special. Hi, I’m Monica, and caring for animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home where there were always pets around — dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, birds, hamsters, fish, even chickens — so looking after animals never felt like a task to me. It became second nature. Over the years, I learned that every pet has their own personality, their own rhythm, and their own way of showing trust. Some need play and excitement, others just want calm company, patience, and someone gentle nearby. I truly enjoy taking the time to understand them and make them feel safe and comfortable while their humans are away. I know how difficult it can feel to leave your pet with someone else. They are family, and you want to know they are being cared for with real attention and kindness — not just “checked on.” That’s exactly the type of care I try to provide. I currently work from home, which gives me flexibility and allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care visits, walks, and house sitting. I especially enjoy caring for cats and small to medium-sized dogs, but I’m also happy to help with other small pets. And especially this summer, I’d be truly happy to help care for your pets while you enjoy a well-deserved holiday with complete peace of mind, knowing they are safe, loved, and in caring hands. What I Offer Home Visits: I can visit your pet once or twice a day to make sure they feel cared for, relaxed, and not alone. Visits can include: Feeding and fresh water Cleaning litter trays or small cages Playtime and companionship Toilet breaks Walks if needed Giving medication when required Lots of affection and attention I always try to make visits feel calm and comforting, especially for pets who may feel anxious when their owners are away. Dog Walking: For me, walks are not just about exercise — they are about giving dogs time to explore, sniff, enjoy the outdoors, and feel happy. I offer attentive and relaxed walks adapted to your dog’s personality and energy level. Some dogs love long adventures, others prefer slower peaceful walks, and I’m happy to follow what makes them feel comfortable. House Sitting: If your pet feels safest at home, I can stay in your house to care for them in their familiar environment and routine. This can include: Feeding and walks Playtime and companionship Keeping their routine as normal as possible Cleaning litter trays Watering plants or bringing in mail if needed My goal is simple: for your pet to feel loved, safe, and emotionally comfortable while you’re away — and for you to have peace of mind knowing they are in caring hands.
