Hi there!

I’m originally from South Africa and I'm based in Maastricht with family while I explore more of Europe and the world. I work remotely in marketing, which gives me the flexibility to stay in many different places, and house sitting feels like the perfect way to do that while still keeping a sense of home (and hopefully a few furry companions too!).

I’m a fairly quiet and calm person by nature, though I have my moments when I want to go out and explore or attend events. As an introvert, I spend a lot of time alone to recharge, which is perfect for spending time with animals that need company.

I’ve done plenty of house and pet sitting back in South Africa (going since 2010), and I’m excited to extend that to my time in the Netherlands. I know how important it is to feel at ease while you’re away, and I’d love to offer you that peace of mind. I have already done some pet sitting in the Netherlands through Trusted Housesitters and have a 5-star rating with reviews.

For me, house and pet sitting brings together two things I care deeply about: spending time with animals and experiencing new places in a way that feels more local and meaningful.

I take a lot of care in how I look after someone else’s home; I treat it as I would want my own space to be treated. And when it comes to pets, I do my best to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Like their family never really left. Whether that means keeping routines consistent, offering lots of cuddles (if welcome!), or giving them the quiet companionship they need, I’m always guided by what’s best for them.

Please note: I rely on public transport to get around, so if you are looking for someone with a car, unfortunately that is not me.
