About me

I am Sofia, a young and sportive girl with a passion for life. I am enthusiastic, full of energy and at the same time, empathetic.

I have had always been surrounded by untraditional pets and animals: naked cats, who require special care, a furret, who was much smarter than I expected, horses, with who you create a special bond, and also a small-size dog. 

I enjoy being immersed in nature while being in movement. In fact, I spend most of my free time playing different sports outdoor. Being with a dog outside represents for me a great opportunity to play, enjoy, breathe and recharge.

I am biology scientist and I am really interested in life mechanisms and secrets, from an ultra-structural point of view to a behavoural one. My master project was in fact about animal behaviour. I always find it very interesting to observe the species differences as well as how smart and self-substainable is the body of living things. In nature collaboration, absence of waste and cycles always prevail. 

I worked in Prolife, a company that provides high-quality food for pets, thanks to which I increased my knoledge about the topic.

My experience as a petsitter

I have been brought up as an only child surrounded by animals. Thanks to this, I developed my understanding of their behaviour. As already mentioned, I have been around different types of animals: cats, dogs, furret, horses, rabbit and mice. 

I also have some theoretical biology-medicine knowledge, which can help to face several situations. In addition, unfortunately, my pets underwent some illnesses and disease, due to which I expanded my practical knowledge. 

I have never been a professional petsitter and I am enthusiastic to start with this new experience. I am willing to meet the pet owner's requests and peculiarity. I am also open to unconventional requests.

Services provided

I can offer all the basics services, in which are not included trainings and injections administration. I will board 3 dogs at the same time maximum. My walks can last up to 2 hours, depending on the dog. I offer 3 dog walks per day. 

I have full availabilities during the day, weekend included. During some days (mostly tuesday and thursday) I am out of house in the evening for 3 hours. 

I prefer to give services in the costumer house.

In case of need I have 2 flats for welcoming small-sized pets with their own equipment. In the first one I have no pet, one flatmate, 2 floor-house, huge garden without fences. In the second one, I have no pet, 2 flatmates, 2 floor-house, quite and green neighborhood and a garden without fences.
