Hi, my name is Lucie, and I am current master student at KU Leuven. I come from a large dog-loving family and have grown up around dogs (of all sizes). I am currently the proud owner of my own dog, a 2-year old rescue. She is a very sensitive and easily frightened dog, so I have experience on handling such dogs. Additionally, I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters over the years and dog-sat for close friends.

What can you expect from me?

I am hoping to start dog walking in order to increase my time spent outdoors, which brightens your dogs day and mine. I am a firm believer in dog-led walks, as this is their time to sniff and explore their surroundings, therefore discovering new places around Leuven. I adapt to the needs of your dog during our time spent together, for example if they need to play or go for a run.

I can offer my services for max. 2 dogs at a time (from the same household).

For walks: I am usually available in the mornings and afternoons, as well as evenings (for regular walks: schedule to be agreed upon in advance). I usually go on 1 hour walks. Depending on where you live in Leuven, I like walking around the abbey or the greenery in Heverlee or Kessel-lo.

For home visits: I have flexible hours, therefore we can agree in advance how much time I should spend with your dog(s). During this time I am free to play, feed and/or walk, whatever tasks we agree to beforehand. Obviously during the time, I can take care of light housework (ex. take in the mail, water the plants).

For dog sitting: I am available most weekends (to be discussed when agreeing upon dates). Your dog(s) will not be left alone for max. 4 hours at a time.
