Hello! My name is Paula and I'm a 29yo-animal-loving journalist from Barcelona living in Brussels. I work from Thursday to Sunday, and mostly from home. I'm also a full-time dog and cat mum: I live with two lovely rescue dogs (Souki and Cinni) and two mischevious little cats (Bubu and Nell) who run the house and my life. For the past decade, I've been regularly taking care of family and friends pets both in Belgium and in Spain. For the past year, I've also volunteered with a Spanish shelter as a foster home in Belgium, and 3 stray dogs have found their forever families after living with us and succesfully adapting to city life! I grew up surrounded by dogs as part of our family, and my goal is that every animal that passes through our lives feels the same love and affection. Including them in my daily routine and planning activities just for them is the greatest pleasure - long walks in the forest with friends, hiking adventures and sniffing games are some of our favourites. My main priorities when looking after animals are their safety and their happiness. I enjoy getting to know each animal and providing the right care for them, always with a loving and patient approach. I have first-hand experience with issues like leash reactivity, fears and anxiety in dogs due to my own pets and the ones I've helped find their homes along the way. I offer home visits and personalised care for your pet, as well as fun and fulfilling dog walks of 30min/1h or longer, as requested (with the possibility of joining our little pack with Souki and/or Cinni if your dog would enjoy that!). I'm also happy to spend time at your home with your pets and provide them with enrichment and mental stimulation activities, as well as lots of cuddles. In addition, I find it very important to send you regular updates on your pet's experience and well-being. I'm prepared to accomodate any special needs for your furry baby. My dog Souki was diagnosed with hip dysplasia this summer and since then we've learned a lot about what she should and shouldn't do, making it possible for her to keep living her life to the fullest!
